Terrific Teriyaki Sauce

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1⁄4 cup cold water

  1. In a sauce pan mix first six ingredients.
  2. Heat until heated through and sugar is dissolved.
  3. In a separate small bowl mix cornstarch and cold water in a cup.
  4. Add cornstarch mixture to sauce in pan.
  5. Heat until sauce thickens to desired consistency.
  6. If over thickened, may be thinned with water.

Yields about 1-1/2 cups
