Storing and Freezing Muffins

Freshly baked muffins are easy to store for long or short term.

To Store Fresh Muffins:

Once your muffins have completely cooled simply put them in an airtight container and they should keep nicely for 3 or 4 days.

To Freeze Fresh Muffins:

Let the muffins cool completely. Then toss them into a freezer ziploc bag. Put the sealed bag in your freezer. They will keep well for a month or two.

To Eat Frozen Muffins:

To thaw frozen muffins take one (or more) out the night before and put in a small ziploc bag  in the fridge to thaw.

To eat a frozen muffin right away put a muffin wrapped in a paper towel onto a plate and microwave, ten seconds at a time, until it is thawed or even warm – your choice.
